Group picture of both sidesRecently, party of the director of The State Hermitage Museum visited Shanghai Theatre Academy and the Yiyuantang Art Museum. President Huang Changyong, director of the foreign affairs office Zhang Yunlei and the interpreter Lou Yan received and welcomed the party.
The State Hermitage Museum is one of the four best museums in the world, the other three museums are the Louvre in Paris, the British Museum in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This an opportunity for the director Mikhail Piotrovsky to get some knowledge of Shanghai Theatre Academy.
President Huang Changyong first introduced STA and then talked about the history of relation between STA and Russia. Subsequently Mikhail Piotrovsky introduced the culture of Russia and the collections of the State Hermitage Museum, and shown great interest in Shanghai Theatre Academy and the Yiyuantang Project. The two sides shared a warm and friendly discussion, and expressed willingness to promote cultural cooperation in the future.
