On 22 May 2015, the Culture Science Technology Innovation Service Alliance (the “Alliance”) and Shanghai Theatre Academy (the “STA”) signed the strategic cooperation agreement, marking the landing of the National Culture Science Technology Innovation Project Cultural Industry High Caliber Talents Cultivation and Practical Training Base (the “Base”) in the STA Huashan Creative Park. As an innovative experiment, the Base aims to cultivate the compound and internationalized talents featuring the integration of culture, science and technology that meet the requirements of the development of China’s cultural industry, with a three-plan to cultivate and upgrade one hundred leaders of the cultural industry who possess the full knowledge structure of creative planning, production management, investment operation as well as entrepreneurship.
The signing ceremony was held at STA. The participants to the signing ceremony included Mr Han Sheng, STA President and Mr Huang Changrong, STA Vice President; Mr Dai Xu, Chairman of the Alliance and Ms Xiong Liqun, Secretary-General of the Alliance; Mr Paul Owens, Secretary-General of World City Culture Forum and President of BOP Cultural Innovation Industry Consulting Co Ltd.
Mr Paul Owens signed the MOU on the international advancement program for cultural innovation industry high-end talents with the Alliance.
After the signing ceremony, STA and the Alliance invited the experts from the industry and academic circle for a constructive discussion about the training courses covering such topics as strategic positioning, curriculum system, teaching resources and service models.
