Shanghai Women's Federation "Art Cultivation and Women Affairs" Executive Development Program concludes successfully

On 23 April, on the occasion of the World Reading Day, the closing ceremony of the “Art Cultivation and Women Affairs” Executive Development Program was held. The program was jointly sponsored by the Shanghai Theatre Academy and Shanghai Women’s Federation and organized by the College of Continuous Education of the Shanghai Theatre Academy. Ms Xu Feng, President and Ms Zhu Ming, Vice President of Shanghai Women’s Federation, Ms Hu Min, Deputy Party Secretary and Mr Guo Yu, Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy, attended the closing ceremony.

The “Art Cultivation and Women Affairs” Executive Development Program was designed to improve the artistic accomplishment of the female cadres and influence and upgrade their professional capabilities and management skills. The curriculum of the program included: arts and Chinese culture, language image and power of communication, art of voice, female image design, psychological insight and character development, body language and emotional energy control , Chinese and foreign classical dramas and female, and cultural and creative industry etc. Besides, the students of the program also participated in the master’s lecture given by Prof Yu Qiuyu on the topic of “Cultural Inheritance and Culture Innovation”. Altogether 129 delegates of the All China Women’s Federation and delegates and executive committee members of the Shanghai Women’s Federation participated in and completed this five and a half days program.

Ms Xu Feng, President of Shanghai’s Women Federation, gave a speech at the closing ceremony. She expressed that the program achieved its intended goals and objectives. On behalf of the Shanghai Women’s Federation, she thanked the Shanghai Theatre Academy for supplying the best teachers and providing the best conditions of learning and congratulated all the students for their dedication to and gains from the program. The student representatives also shared their feelings and experiences of participating in the program.
