From 5 to 7 December, the 3rd annual meeting of the Art Management Committee of the National Institute of Arts was held at the Yunnan Normal University in Kunming. Prof Lin Jiyao, President of National Institute of Arts, attended the meeting, as well as the rest of the leadership. Over 90 people from 34 universities participated in the meeting in addition to the local participants from Yunnan. The meeting received about 40 theses. The annual meeting achieved great results in many aspects and created synergy among art management scholars from the different universities in China. It will also make positive impact on the theoretical research as well as discipline and major development in art management.
At the closing ceremony of the annual meeting, Prof Peng Jixiang, Vice President of National Institute of Arts, announced the name list of director, deputy directors, executive council members, council members, secretary-general and deputy secretaries-general of the Art Management Committee. Prof Huang Changyong, Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy, was elected one of the deputy directors of the Art Management Committee, and the Shanghai Theatre Academy was elected one of the executive council members.
