On 7 November 2014, Mr. Daniel Gorki’s, Dean of College of the Arts, Montclair State University, New Jersey, USA, visited the Shanghai Theatre Academy. Prof Gong Barong, Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy, received the guest.
The Shanghai Theatre Academy and Montclair State University established the friendly relationship four years ago. During the last summer vocation, a group of six teachers and students from the Shanghai Theatre Academy visited the Montclair State University for microfilm co-production with the students of the Montclair State University. This has further deepened the exchange between the two universities. This visit of Mr. Daniel Gorki’s was for discussion about the teacher and student exchange between the two universities.
It was expected that as the outcome of the discussion, both sides would be able to cooperate in the areas of dance, music and theatrical literature to a higher level and continue to explore the opportunities for more possible activities of exchange and cooperation.
