Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, co-sponsored by the Department of Culture of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and organized by the Xinjiang Cultural Training Centre, the Xinjiang Artistic Group Leaders Management Training Program was held at the Xinjiang Culture and Art School in the Wulumuqi from 27 October to 1 November. Mr Tian Xianhong, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Culture of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
As part of the training program, Prof Huang Chuangyong, Vice President of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA), gave a presentation on the topic of Cultural Innovation and Cultural Management and Prof Zhang Shengquan, Director of Publicity Department of STA, gave a presentation on the topic of Concept and Techniques of Role Interaction, on the 29th and 27th respectively. Their presentations addressed the profound issues in a vivid and easy-to-understand way and were very well received by the students, especially, the ethnic minority students.
