Recently, the Tibet Modern Drama Advanced Study Program was held at the Tibet Modern Drama Troupe. Leaders of the Cultural Department of the Tibetan Autonomous Region and leaders of the Tibet Modern Drama Troupe attended the opening ceremony of the program. Co-sponsored by the Cultural Department and Human Resource and Social Security Department of the Tibetan Autonomous Region, this program has enrolled over 70 key professional personnel from the modern drama troupe of the autonomous region, other artistic groups of the relevant prefectures and cities, art research institute of the autonomous region, art troupes of the Tibet military zone and armed police, and Art College of the Tibet University.
Three professors of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA), namely, Yao Kouyin, Wang Su and Lu Jun, were invited to Tibet to give lectures to the students of the program. Their lectures were very well received by the students.
