In the afternoon of 26 June, the first university student artwork exhibition was launched at the ancient town of Fengjing. From then until the end of July, the exhibition will be open to tourists and visitors free of charge, giving them the opportunity to appreciate the paintings of the students of the Department of Stage Design and College of Creative Studies of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) which feature the famous scenic spots and tourist attractions of the ancient town of Fengjing.
With the establishment of the STA university student artistic creation base in Fengjing, the students of the Department of Stage Design and College of Creative Studies will come to do sketching during the STA social and artistic practice week. This initiative will integrate the university’s art education with the regional community cultural development and create an off-campus classroom of the students.
