On 23 June, the Publicity Department of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee sent a thank you letter to the Shanghai Theatre Academy in recognition of STA’s participation in the Shanghai Culture and Art Delegation accompanying Mr Han Zheng, Politburo Member of CPC Central Committee and Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and his official delegation on the visits to Australia and Vanuatu in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Shanghai Queensland sister city relationship and the 20th anniversary of the Shanghai-Port Vila sister city relationship. During the visits, the STA students gave two wonderful performances in Australia and Vanuatu respectively.
This is the second time of the year that STA has been acknowledged by the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee in the form a formal thank-you letter for its active participation in the foreign-related exchange activities. The first one was for STA’s participation in the cultural and artistic performance for the CICA Summit which was held in Shanghai in May.
