Co-sponsored by the Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) and co-organized by the Shanghai Translators Association, STA Centre for Foreign Theatre Studies and Shanghai Theatre Magazine, a forum on contemporary foreign drama translation was held successfully at STA on 12 June. The forum was chaired by Prof Gong Baorong, Vice President of STA and attended by a distinguished group of drama translators, directors, experts and scholars for stimulating discussions on and around the topics of the current status and influence of foreign drama translation.
