On the afternoon of 23 May, the Excellence Forum hosted by the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA)’s Academic Affairs Office held its 44th session at STA’s New Space Theatre. This session featured Dr Zhang Weijiang, former Director-General of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and now Vice President of China Association of Higher Education and President of Shanghai Association of Higher Education, who gave a presentation on “The Footprints of Shanghai’s Contemporary Higher Education – A Retrospect and Reflection”.
The session was co-organized by the Shanghai Yan Huang Culture Association and STA. Mr Zhou Muyao, President of Shanghai Yan Huang Culture Association and former Vice Mayor of Shanghai and Mr Lou Wei, Chairman of STA were present. Prof Han Sheng, President of STA and a group of young teachers of STA also attended Dr Zhang’s presentation, which was also the inaugural project of STA’s Centre for Teachers Development.
