In his capacity as an independent academic evaluator appointed by the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts (APA), Prof He Yan of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA)’s Acting Department paid a seven-day visit to APA from 18 to 24 May. The purpose of the visit was to undertake an evaluation of all the courses offered at APA. During the visit, Prof He Yan was also invited to have meetings with the faculty, students, alumni and industry representatives to discuss a wide range of matters including the content of teaching, professional practice and student recruitment etc. Prof He Yan gives full recognition to APA’s professional teaching and will submit a written evaluation report to APA.
