A six-member delegation led by Dr Karen Gould, Dean of City University New York Brooklyn College, USA, visited the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) in the afternoon of 14 April 2014. The two sides hold friendly consultations on cooperation and exchange between the two institutions and reached the agreement on establishing a long term partnership in the future. The two sides also signed the letter of intent on promoting the mutual cooperation in the areas of education, training, research and cultural promotion with a focus on teacher exchange, student exchange and cooperative projects. The members of STA management who met with the guests and attended the signing ceremony included Han Sheng, President of STA, Li Zhenglin, Director of Academic Affairs Office, Liu Zhixin, Dean of Creative Studies College, Sha Yang, Deputy Party Secretary, Film & TV Arts College and Zhang Yunlei, Deputy Director of International Exchange Office.
