On 21 February 2014, a 3-member delegation led by Moldova’s Minister for Culture visited Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA), accompanied by officials of Chinese Ministry of Culture. STA Chairman Lou Wei and Vice President Gong Baorong received the guests. The two sides held friendly discussion about the future cooperation and exchange between STA and Moldova’s theatrical arts community. The Minister said that Chinese arts are very popular in Moldova and hoped that STA could bring the excellent Chinese arts to Moldova. The President of Moldova’s Music, Drama and Visual Arts Academy, who was present during the meeting, expressed the desire to establish cooperative relationship with STA.
