Rising Artist’ Work has been held in STA. Nowadays, all programs are playing vibrantly in all theatres, big or small, on the lawn or on campus. A lot of audience and foreign art lovers can enjoy many performances and experience the novel artistic form displayed by each program. Besides those fancy performances, it is the creative market we feel every necessity to talk about.
Creative Market is located on the Theatre Square of STA, separated into individual white shelter which together consists of a circle of Creative Display Zone. It draws not only a lot of foreign visitors and artists, but also some overseas students. Most of the art works on display are originally created by students who made each of the works with great feeling towards life and creative inspirations.
Meanwhile, you can find a lot of creative decorations in the market, such as hand-made key chain, cup coaster made of wooden, 999 silver necklaces, etc. In the display zone, one black thread is very attractive. It seems to be a smooth black line, but actually it turns out to be a light which can efficiently save energy. The design is not loud, only matched with simple lines, but it is novel enough for the customers.
The colored sand is the next thing to be checked carefully. No one would refuse the works which is coloring your life. It looks like the sand we used to play back into our childhood. However, after watching it closely, you will find the designer put his sand bottles on the table. Sand bottles create a feeling like colored desert. The pile of the colors shows designer's comparison and understanding on color, and the explanation of the creation style. It is simple yet eco-friendly. What is more surprising than the scenery sand bottles are the figure sand bottles. Good skill and colored sand were distributed into the small bottle, which is really touching and makes people believe that the entire world could have been put into this small glass bottles.
Sometimes, creation does not require a lot of hi-end materials. Possibly, a change or a break-through could be enlightening enough. The gratitude should be sent to every designer or creator who works for this Creative Market in this Creation Week for they show us that creation could be everywhere.
