Xie Wei, Chairman of Shanghai Theatre Academy



Born in February 1972, Xie Wei is the Chairman of Shanghai Theatre Academy. He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering and a master's degree in management. He began his career in August 1993 and joined the Communist Party of China in June 1996.


Huang Changyong, Vice Chairman and President of Shanghai Theatre Academy

Born in December 1966, Huang Changyong is the Vice Chairman and President of Shanghai Theatre Academy, member of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the China People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), expert in decision-making consultation appointed by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, director (Shanghai) of the Metropolitan Cultural Audit Centre (MCAC), editor-in-chief of the journal Art Management, initiator and chief expert of the Metropolitan Culture Collaborative Innovation Centre, professor and doctoral supervisor. He is also a professor and doctoral supervisor at Tongji  University, vice chairman of the Higher Education Art Theory Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education and vice chairman of the Art Management Committee of the National Art Society. He graduated from the Chinese Department of Fudan University in July 1995 with a doctoral degree in literature. He has successively served as lecturer, associate professor and professor of Tongji University. He has successively or concurrently served as deputy dean of the School of Communications and Art of Tongji University, director of the Publicity Department of the Party Committee, director of the press center, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Humanities, executive deputy director of the Chinese Literature Center and director of the Institute  of Cultural Industries. In February 2010, he was appointed Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy, President of Shanghai Theatre Academy through open selection. In October 2016, he was appointed President of Shanghai Theatre Academy. In April 2017, he was appointed Vice Chairman and President of Shanghai Theatre Academy.


Hu Min, Vice Chairwoman of Shanghai Theatre Academy


Born in October 1967, Hu Min is the Vice Chairman of Shanghai Theatre Academy. She holds a master's degree in history and is both a lecturer and a senior political engineer. She joined the Chinese Communist Party in June 1987 and started to work in October 1989. From October 2000 to May 2002, Hu Min worked as the Director of Communist Party Office in the Basic Medicine College of Shanghai Second Medical University. From May 2002 to July 2005, she served as the Deputy Director and later the Director of Communist Party Office of Shanghai Second Medical University. Then she assumed the post of Director of Communist Party Office in the Medical College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University from July 2005 to July 2008, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Vice President of Shanghai Institute of Health Sciences from July 2008 to April 2012.


Zhou Yin'e, Vice Chairwoman of Shanghai Theatre Academy and Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee

Born in March 1970, Zhou Yin'e is the Vice Chairwoman of Shanghai Theatre Academy and the Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree obtained through full-time undergraduate study and a Master of Law degree obtained through on-job postgraduate study, and holds the professional title of lecturer. Her previous positions include: Secretary of Youth League Committee of Shanghai Normal University, Secretary of CPC General Branch of Education Science College of Shanghai Normal University, Secretary of CPC General Branch of Utah Science & Technology College of Shanghai Normal University, Secretary of CPC Committee of Finance College of Shanghai Normal University, Secretary of CPC Committee of Education College of Shanghai Normal University, Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee and Vice President of Shanghai Institute of Politics and Law.


Zhang Weiling, Vice Chairman and Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy


Born in December 1964, Zhang Weiling is the Vice President and an associate professor at Shanghai Theater  Academy. In August 1987, he obtained his mater degree in Social Sciences and Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and began to work in the same year. He served as the Deputy Secretary of Youth League Committee, the Deputy Secretary of Party General Branch in the Department of Applied Chemistry, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Steering Committee for Students' Affairs (Studying in Shanghai Chinese Communist Party College from September 1997 to January 1998), the Deputy Director of Communist Party Office and University General Affair Office and the Director of Minhang Campus Office, and the Director of University General Affairs in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (taking the temporary post of Deputy Secretary-General of Shanghai Education Commission from October 2002 to June 2003).  In June 2003, he stared to work as the Director of Shanghai Education Commission Office and then as the Deputy Secretary-General there. From June 2008 to September 2010, he held the position of Head of Shanghai Working Group in the headquarters of Dujiangyan Reconstruction. In May 2011, he started to take on the post of Vice President at Shanghai Theatre Academy.


Tang Litu, Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy

Born in October 1963, Tang Litu is the Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy. He holds a Master of Engineering degree obtained through on-job postgraduate study, and holds the professional title of senior engineer. His previous positions include: Director of Infrastructure Division and Director of Infrastructure Service Centre of Shanghai Maritime College, Deputy General Manager and Secretary of CPC Branch of Shanghai Shenjiao Investment Co Ltd, Director of Shanghai Education Infrastructure Management Centre, Assistant President of Shanghai Conservatory of Music (on secondment), and Vice President of Shanghai Conservatory of Music.


Yang Yang, Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy

Born in April 1963, Yang Yang is the Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy and the Part-time Vice President of Shanghai Writers' Association. He holds a Doctor of Literature degree obtained through full-time postgraduate study, and holds the professional title of professor. His previous positions include: Professor at Department of Chinese of East China Normal University, Editor-in-Chief (Philosophy and Social Sciences) of University Journal of East China Normal University, Part-time Vice President of Shanghai Writers’ Association.


Liu Qing, Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy

Born in July 1970, Liu Qing is the Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy. He holds a Master of Literature degree obtained through full-time postgraduate study and a Doctor of Literature degree obtained through on-job postgraduate study. He holds the professional title of professor. His previous positions include: Deputy Dean of Theatrical Literature Department, Deputy Dean of Graduate School, then Dean of Theatrical Literature of Shanghai Theatre Academy.


Zhang Jiachun, Chief Fiancial Officer of Shanghai Theatre Academy

Born in January 1963, Zhang Jiachun is the Chief Financial Officer of both Shanghai  Theatre Academy and Shanghai Conservatory of Music). She holds a BA in Engineering and a PhD in Management, and holds the professional titles of professor and senior accountant. She began her career in 1983 and joined the Communist Party of China in 1998. Her previous positions include: Deputy Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee and Director of Supervision Office of Shanghai University.
