Ms Hu Min was born in October 1967. She is of Han ethnicity, and her family origin is Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. She became a member of the Communist Party of China in June 1987. She holds a master’s degree in history obtained through full-time study, and is a senior political work specialist. Ms Hu began her career in October 1989, and has since held various positions, including Director of the CPC Committee’s Office at the Shanghai Second Medical University, Director of the CPC Committee’s Office at the Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and Vice President at the Shanghai Medical College for Higher Vocational and Technical Education, and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission at the Shanghai Theatre Academy. Ms Hu is currently Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee at the Shanghai Theatre Academy.
