Mr Huang Changyong

Mr Huang Changyong was born in December 1966. He is of Han ethnicity, and his family origin is Huangchuan, Henan Province. He became a member of the Communist Party of China in October 1994. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature obtained through full-time undergraduate study and a PhD degree in literature obtained through on-the-job graduate study. He is a professor and a doctoral supervisor. Mr Huang began his career in July 1987 and has since held various positions, including Vice Dean/Acting Dean of the School of Communication and Arts at the Tongji University, Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Committee at the Tongji University cum Secretary of the CPC Committee at the School of Humanities of the Tongji University, and Vice President of the Shanghai Theatre Academy. Concurrently, he serves as the Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Bond of Theatre Schools (APB), Honorary President of the Arts Management Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Art Theory, Director of the National Cultural and Tourism Research Base - China Theatre Development Research Centre, Director of the Shanghai University Think Tank - Global Urban Culture Collaborative Innovation Centre, and Editor-in-Chief of the journal "Arts Management" (Chinese-English Bilingual). Mr Huang is currently Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of the Shanghai Theatre Academy.
