From 27 to 30 April 2021, the Chinese opera version of "Secret Love in Peach Blossom Land", the graduation production of BA Directing for Chinese Opera 2017 of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) was staged in the STA Experimental Theater.

After the play was successful staged, a seminar on the teaching and creation of the play was held on 13 May in Shanghai Theatre Academy. President Huang Changyong, Vice President Yang Yang, heads of relevant colleges and departments, professors, teachers, national-level actors and national-level directors of Shanghai Theatre Academy and relevant professors of Tongji University, as well as Lai Shengchuan, Chinese Dramatist, artistic director of Theatre Above and creative director of “Acting Workshop”, attended the seminar.
