On 5 August, the first general meeting and founding meeting of the Film and Television Translation and Communication Committee of the China Federation of Radio and Television Associations was successfully held. The first leading group was elected at the meeting, and Li Zuowen, Dean of the School of Foreign languages and Cultures of the Communication University of China, was elected as the chairman. Yan Chengsheng, deputy director-general of the International Cooperation Department of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, and Huang Wei, vice president and secretary general of the China Federation of Radio and Television Associations, attended the meeting. The College of Film and Television of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) is one of the founding organizations for the Committee, and Wei Dongxiao, party branch secretary and vice dean of the STA College of Film and Television, was elected as a director of the Committee.
