In the meantime, she asked that the counselors and head teachers of all colleges and departments should ensure that the communication and exchange between the teachers and students were well maintained and that they should get down to the “front line” during the course of the military training to find out the actual situation of the students in detail, thus making a good preparation for the day-to-day student management in the future. She also emphasized that the rules should be established and implemented from the very beginning and reminded all the teachers to carry out standardized and strict management. Finally, Deputy Party Secretary Hu Min outlined her expectations on the ideological and political work of all colleges, departments and grades, asking that all colleges and departments should adopt the college/department-specific approach to explore and plan the ideological and political work according to their respective features and taking into consideration of the characteristics of their students so as to achieve the good growth of the overall quality of the students.
