In a concerted effort to effectively execute the directives of the "Notification from the General Office of the Ministry of Education Concerning the Launch of the Employment Intensification Campaign for the 2024 Cohort of College Graduates," the Academy has sharpened its focus on the pivotal and challenging aspects of employment enhancement, mobilizing societal resources, and bolstering the connectivity between academic institutions and corporate demand. The leadership team, along with heads of relevant functional offices and subordinate faculties, has recently conducted visits to Shanghai MiHoYo Network Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Film (Group) Co., Ltd., as part of the employment-promoting initiative.

During the visit to MiHoYo, Xie Wei, the Party Secretary of Shanghai Theatre Academy, acquired a comprehensive understanding of the company's development history, industry resources, and competitive advantages. Subsequent discussions covered themes such as student internships, employment, entrepreneurship, talent cultivation, integration of industry and education, and the collaborative construction of large model data for motion capture, all aimed at laying a solid groundwork for future cooperative endeavors.

At the Shanghai Film Group, the Academy's Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President, Zhang Weiling, presented an overview of the institution's various professional programs and student training initiatives to Wang Jian'er, the Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanghai Film Group. The dialogue focused on joint party-building, talent nurturing, resource sharing, and co-creation of works. Additionally, the parties discussed establishing dedicated intern training programs and employment internship bases, actively seeking precise alignment between talent cultivation and corporate recruitment needs.

This "Enterprise Visitation and Job Development Action" is a pivotal measure to support student internships and employment, as well as a robust mechanism to understand the cutting-edge developments within the industry, provide feedback to professional teaching, and promote the integration of industry and education. The Student Affairs Office and the Office of Employment and Entrepreneurship will carry on with thematic educational activities under the "Education through Employment" initiative, playing a bridging role in further expanding resource networks. The goal is to create a broader spectrum of employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for the graduating class of 2024, driving deep and extensive collaboration between academia and industry, and facilitating high-quality and fuller employment for graduates.
