The 4th Plenary Meeting & Academic Seminar of the International Advisory Committee on Film Education of Shanghai Theatre Academy was held at the Changlin Road Campus of STA on 2 December, during the 78th anniversary celebration of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA). The theme of the meeting was "How Digital Technology Reshapes Higher Film Education". The meeting was chaired by Professor Ren Zhonglun, Chairman of the International Advisory Committee on Film Education of Shanghai Theatre Academy and Vice Chairman of the China Film Association.
Professor Nie Wei, Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy, delivered a speech. Professor Li Zhenlin, Dean of the Film School of Shanghai Theatre Academy, gave a report on the major work of the College of Film in 2023.
The Chinese and foreign members of the International Advisory Committee attended the meeting in person or via videoconference and spoke freely on the theme of the meeting, making suggestions and recommendations for film education at Shanghai Theatre Academy.
Professor Huang Changyong, President of Shanghai Theatre Academy, gave the closing speech.
