On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Shanghai Theatre Academy, the Big Zero Bay Coloring Pujiang Art Modeling Showcase Activity & Plaque Unveiling Ceremony of Big Zero Bay Incubation Base and Master Studio for Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship was successfully held on 1 December at Chuanshangmeijie, Jiangchuan Road Sub-district, Minhang District.
This was one of the important achievements of the new round of comprehensive cooperation between Minhang District People's Government and Shanghai Theatre Academy under the Big Zero Bay special project. Leaders of Minhang District and persons-in-charge from relevant commission, bureau and sub-district of Minhang District, as well as leaders of Shanghai Theatre Academy, persons-in-charge from relevant functional offices, experts and teacher representative of Shanghai Theatre Academy, attended this event.
In August this year, Minhang District People's Government and Shanghai Theatre Academy signed a new round of district-university cooperation agreement. Taking the opportunity of promoting the construction of the Big Bay Zero Place of Source Functional Area for Science and Technology Innovation, the two sides established the principle of sharing resources, complementing each other's strengths, and developing win-win situation, aiming to comprehensively help Minhang District to enhance its core strengths and deepen the industry-city integration. A special-purpose fund for district-university cooperation was also set up to support Shanghai Theatre Academy’s work in carrying out basic research on Bay Zero Bay, bringing in and cultivating outstanding talents, and providing public cultural services.
The Pujiang Series, which is a public cultural service project, directly serves the development of Big Zero Bay in Minhang. This event was part of the Pujiang Series.
The newly inaugurated Shanghai Theatre Academy Big Zero Bay Incubation Base for Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship will strive to provide more practice opportunities and artistic exchange platforms for teachers and students and at the same time enrich the cultural life of the general public and enhance the cultural and artistic standards of the community.
The Big Zero Bay Artist Studio, on the other hand, is a place that gathers top artists and scholars to promote artistic innovation and development through teaching, research and creation.
One of the highlights of this event was the unique Coloring art modeling showcase, which was a multi-dimensional fusion of creative character modeling, dance art and theatre space creation, and signified the opening of the high-quality Pujiang Series of public cultural projects.
The Coloring series is an art brand created by Professor Xu Jiahua and his team at Shanghai Theatre Academy’s Department of Stage Design with more than 20 years of efforts, and has considerable influence. This time, the Coloring series comes to the riverside area of Minhang, and is named Coloring Pujiang, and it will surely become a beautiful sight to behold. All the costumes at the showcase were designed by the students of Shanghai Theatre Academy’s Department of State Design, and the College of Dance students added brilliant colors to "Coloring Pujiang" with their beautiful dances.
