Recently, the Rector of Macao Polytechnic University (MPU), Professor Im Sio Kei, and the Vice President of the Council, Mr Lok Po, visited Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA).
Rector Im Sio Kei introduced the basic situation of MPU. MPU has strong strengths in high-tech disciplines and also has a Faculty of Arts and Design. The purpose of this visit was to establish cooperation with Shanghai Theatre Academy in film teaching.
Xie Wei, Party Secretary of Shanghai Theatre Academy, Nie Wei, Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy, and Wu Aili, Director of Discipline Development Office, received the guests.
The two sides agreed that the two universities would take the integration of science and art as an entry point to cooperate in such aspects as student training, artistic creation and artificial intelligence.
