On the noon of 11 January 2019, Zhang Weiling, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) and Chairman of the STA Trade Union, on behalf of the faculty and staff of our university, sent greetings to the national and municipal-level model workers (and those who enjoy the treatment of model workers) and recipients of the May Day Medal in the Shanghai Theatre Academy, and presented flowers to them.
The STA Trade Union is persistent in vigorously carrying forward the spirit of model workers and craftsmanship and in making one micro film about model workers every year, thereby adhering to the spirit of model workers, exploring the quality of model workers, publicizing the value of model workers, cultivating and practicing the socialist core values, making the values that work is glorious and creation is great the sonorous main theme of the era, and encouraging all staff to make contribution to the realization of Chinese dream with their work and creation.
The model workers (and those who enjoy the treatment of model workers) and recipients of the May Day Medal are the concentrated demonstration of the humanistic spirit and teachers' ethics of STAers, and represent their selfless dedication as artistic craftsmen. The STA Trade Union makes the annual greeting in honour of the model workers and recipients of the May Day Labor Medal a keyb part of the year-end greeting activities. The trade union had paid separate home visits to teachers who were unable to attend the greeting event.
