At noon on 8 November 2018, the Autumn Teachers’ Games of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) was successfully held in the square in front of the STA Experimental Theatre. Zhang Weiling, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President of STA and Chairman of STA Trade Union, announced the games open.
At the opening ceremony, all the athletes demonstrated the ninth set of radio exercises with great vigor and high spirit to the accompaniment of the exciting radio exercises music. They represented the vigorous and positive team spirit of the STA staff.
The games were divided into 14 individual and group events. During the competition, the teachers who liked to exercise in their spare time were in high spirits and showed their skills. Some teachers sighed because their results were slightly lower than last year's, and some teachers were excited about the good results they had achieved. The teachers itched to have a go before the competition, and were focused and dared not slack off during the competition, and rejoiced in their results after the competition.
This year’s Teachers' Games strengthened the cohesion of teachers and staff, increased their enthusiasm of participating in activities, and enhanced the exchanges between departments. The STA Trade Union has set up a stage for all teachers and staff to show their talents, promote friendship and temper their willpower, and has also provided a platform for "happy sports, healthy sports".
