Facing the current severe and complex pandemic situation, as part of an art university, what should we do? How should we do? In this special period, we will truly record every bit of the actions taken by teachers, students and staff of the Shanghai Theatre Academy. Art is a kind of warmth, art is also a kind of strength, art can bring power to others, and art can also inspire ourselves. Move forward with art! The pandemic is temporary, but art will last forever.
Since the quasi-lockdown was implemented on campus, the Shanghai Theatre Academy has organized a group of student volunteers to act as the reporters to report on the battle against the pandemic on campus. A reporters group composed of graduate students from the Dramatic Literature Department recently made a series of interviews on the work of the logistics and security team at the Lianhua Road Campus.
The interviewees included Mr Jia, team leader of security guards, Mr Wu from the canteen and Ms Jin, team leader of dormitory management, who represented their respective outstanding teams. We wanted to thank them for their wholehearted care and protection. Thanks to all members of the logistics and security team, we can still study and live as normal under the severe pandemic situation, including but not limited to the security guards who disinfect the deliveries and stand in the canteen in spite of rain and wind to maintain the order of the canteen, the canteen staff who have been busy since 7 am to prepare delicious meals, healthy fruits and tasty snacks for the students, and the dormitory management staff who organize students to do the nucleic acid testing and work hard to check the dormitory rooms. It is their wholehearted care and protection that has made our time nice and calm.
The pandemic has made us more tolerant and understand others better, and everyone has grown up because of it. Thanks to those logistics and security staff who care for and protect us, we have had more warmth and are able to light up each other during this unusual period of time.
