The Sixth National College Students' Art Performances Showcase came to an end recently. On the occasion of the closing of this event, the good news came that the original work "Jasmine Fragrance" from the Dance College of Shanghai Theatre Academy won the first prize of the art performance category in this event.
Jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, the Sixth National College Students' Art Performances Showcase was held in Chengdu from 6 to 13 May 2021. There were 16 art performance programs and 4 art practice workshops from 13 universities in Shanghai. “Jasmine Fragrance”, the entry of Shanghai Theatre Academy entry, was invited to participate in the performance at the opening ceremony of this event.
“Jasmine Fragrance” is a work aboutyoung people with aspirations pursuing ideal and progress. In the performance at the opening ceremony and during the live performance showcase later on, thisdance work won the praise of experts, others colleges and audiences with its exquisite artistic presentation and profound ideological connotation.
