To implement the national strategy of Yangtze River Delta integrated development, Shanghai Theatre Academy has taken a new initiative. On 8 May , Shanghai Theatre Academy signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Suzhou Municipal Government.
According to the strategic cooperation agreement, the two sides will jointly explore the connotation of Jiangnan culture (i.e. culture of the southern Yangtze regions) in the new era, deepen the collaborative development of art education, and carry out strategic cooperation in building the integrated development of culture and tourism and promoting the integration and exchange of cultural talents. Under the strategic framework agreement, the two sides signed specific project cooperation agreements and cooperative education agreements on the establishment of Gusu Experimental School Affiliated to Shanghai Theatre Academy, the creation of art education and live network broadcasting practice bases, and the promotion of cultural and tourist projects upgrading.
This initiative is not only an important step taken by Shanghai Theatre Academy to deeply implement the national strategy of Yangtze River Delta integrated development, but also a concrete action to accelerate the implementation of the strategic framework agreement between Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and Suzhou Municipal Government on the high-quality coordinated development of education between Shanghai and Suzhou.
Xu Kunlin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee, Xie Wei, Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee, and Huang Changyong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee and President of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, attended the signing ceremony. The meeting was presided over by Yang Fang, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and Director of the Suzhou Municipal Civilization Office. Jin Jie, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee, delivered a speech on behalf of the Suzhou Municipal Government, and Huang Changyong delivered a speech on behalf of the audience.
After the signing of the agreements, Xu Kunlin and Xie Wei jointly unveiled the plaque for Gusu Experimental School Affiliated to Shanghai Theatre Academy. The two sides will jointly help with the development of the affiliated school from the aspects of building the featured brand of holistic education, improving the overall quality of art education, bringing in external teachers while training existing teachers and developing the connotation of curriculum, thus strengthening the basic education brand of Shanghai Theatre Academy.
Huang Aijun, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of the CPC Gusu District Committee, Wang Yang, Vice Mayor of Suzhou Municipal Government, Che Jianxin, Chairman of the Red Star Macalline Co Ltd, Hu Min, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee, Zhang Weiling, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee and Vice President of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, and heads of relevant functional offices of the Shanghai Theatre Academy also attended the signing ceremony.
