On the morning of 5 November, the CPC General Branch of Retired Personnel held a special training session on the use of APP software of the "Xuexi" learning platform in the retired personnel’s activity room located in the Foxi Building. More than 20 retired party members participated in the training. At the training session, Fang Jun, deputy director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Committee of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA), explained to the retired party members the significance of the initiative of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee to construct the "Xuexi" software platform, introduced the influence of the software platform in the country, and analyzed the situation of our university in using the “Xuexi” learning platform. Huang Shurong, a teacher from the Publicity Department of the CPC Committee of STA, introduced the rules and methods of learning for each section of the App for retired party members. Liu Haiqing, Secretary of the CPC General Branch, summarized the training session, introduced the purpose of organizing the training, and also put forward requirements for the party members with regard to the learning in the time to come. After the concentrated training, the retired party members were divided into groups according to their respective branches for practice. The committee members of the CPC General Branch and the branch secretaries gave face-to-face answers to questions raised during the practice.
