On 2 November, the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee for Education and Health Work held the commendation meeting for “advance collectives” and “advanced individuals” of retired cadres within its system and the retired cadres’ work promotion meeting. At the meeting, the list of recipients of retired cadres’ advanced unit award and advanced individual award at the national and Shanghai municipal levels was read out, as well as the commendation decision of the CPC Shanghai Committee for Education and Health Work. Leaders attending the meeting presented the awards to the representatives of the retired cadres who were elected as advanced collectives and advanced individuals.
Dai Ping, former Party Secretary of our university, was awarded the honorary titles of "Advanced Individual of Retired Cadres in the Shanghai Municipality" and "Advanced Individual of Retired Cadres in the System of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee for Education and Health Work", and the Party general branch of the retired personnel was awarded the title of "Advanced Collective of Retired Cadres in the System of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee for Education and Health Work". Liu Haiqing, Secretary of the Party general branch of retired personnel, and Zhou Baodi, Vice President and Secretary General of the Retired Professors Association of Shanghai Theatre Academy, were awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Individual of Retired Cadres in the System of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee for Education and Health Work".
