Collective Lesson Preparation and Project Promotion Meeting of Shanghai Ideological and Political Education Steering Committee for Graduate Students is Held at STA

On the morning of 31 October 2020, the 7th collective lesson preparation and project promotion meeting of Shanghai Ideological and Political Education Steering Committee for Graduate Students was held in the conference room on the first floor of Foxi Building on Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA)'s Huashan Road Campus. More than 30 teachers from many universities in the city participated in the meeting. Hu Min, Deputy Party Secretary of STA, and Chen Min, Dean of STA’s College of Marxism and Director of STA’s Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, attended the meeting at which they gave speeches and introduced the relevant situation of STA.


The topics of the meeting were the collective preparation for the lesson “Governance in the Great Changes” and the research project of ideological and political course for graduate students. Xiao Wei from Fudan University who was chair of the Ideological and Political Education Steering Committee for Graduate Students, and representatives from East China University of Politics and Law, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance and Shanghai Dianji University respectively expressed their opinions on the topics of the meeting. Finally, Xiao Wei made further arrangements for the promotion of the research project of ideological and political course for graduate students.


This meeting was the first occasion that Shanghai Ideological and Political Education Steering Committee for Graduate Students had held its regular meeting in our university, which provided an opportunity for us to receive the guidance from the attending experts and scholars with regard to the special nature of our ideological and political course for graduate students of an art university. It was of great significance to deepening the important role of art colleges and universities in the Steering Committee and enhancing the improvement of the teaching level of our university’s ideological and political course for graduate student.
