Although the school is not yet open, the work does not stop. Since the beginning of March, the work of the school has been carried out in an all-round way. Recently, the Party and administrative leaders of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) including Xie Wei, Party Secretary , Zhou Yin’e, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee, Zhang Weiling, Tang Litu, Vice President, and Zhang Jiachun, Chief Accountant, visited STA’s Lianhua Road Campus and Hongqiao Road Campus for a number of times to conduct onsite inspection on the prevention and control of novel coronavirus epidemic, get an in-depth understanding of the situation of online teaching, investigate the current status of campus operation and management, and solve problems encountered in the actual work.
The school leaders gave recognition to the work done by the Chinese Opera School, Dance School, College of Chinese Opera and College of Dance in the epidemic prevention and control period. They held exchange and discussion on the characteristics of online teaching in an art university, the difficulties of epidemic prevention and control, the complexity of campus management, and put forward the requirements for the work in the next stage.
Liu Jun, deputy director, Office of the CPC Committee and Office of the President, and relevant staff accompanied the STA leaders on the visits.
