On the morning of 9 September, the report-back demonstration of military training results and closing ceremony of the military training camp for Class of 2019 new students of our school was held at the Oriental Land. Leaders of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) Huang Changyong, Zhou Yin'e, Zhang Weiling, Liu Qing, Zhang Jiachun, as well as heads of relevant functional offices, departments and colleges, attended the event. Li Dongmei, deputy director of the Student Affairs Office and deputy commander of the military training, presided over the closing ceremony.
With the playing of the national anthem, the report-back demonstration and closing ceremony officially began. Accompanied by Ji Feng, deputy director of the Oriental Greenland and director of the Shanghai National Defense Education Centre, Huang Changyong, deputy party secretary and president of STA, inspected the trainee companies of Class of 2019 new students attending the military training.
This year's report-back demonstration was colorful and eye-catching. In addition to the demonstration of military training results, there was also a dance performance carefully prepared by the students of the College of Dance during their spare time after-training. The students used ballet, international ballroom dance and Chinese dance to show the professional skills and youthful of STA students.
Subsequently, Zhou Yin'e, deputy party secretary of STA and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Liu Qing, vice president, and Zhang Jiachun, chief accountant, read out the list of outstanding companies, outstanding instructors and outstanding students respectively, and the school leaders present on the rostrum issued the certificates to the winners of these titles.
To thank the Shanghai Teenagers Extracurricular Activities Campsite (Oriental Greenland) for their careful arrangement and organization of the military training, Huang Changyong, deputy secretary and president of STA, presented the silk banner to the Shanghai Teenagers Extracurricular Activities Campsite (Oriental Land) as a token of appreciation.
Yan Zechen, a Class of 2019 puppet major student of the College of Chinese Traditional Opera, came to the stage and spoke as a winner of the outstanding student title. Ji Feng, deputy director of Oriental Greenland and director of the Shanghai National Defense Education Center, spoke on behalf of the Oriental Greenland. Zhang Weiling, deputy party secretary and vice president of STA, delivered a speech on behalf of the Party and administrative leaderships of the school.
The closing ceremony of the military training camp ended successfully in the warm atmosphere of all teachers and students singing the school song of STA together.
