According to the unified deployment of the Party Committee of the school, the new staff induction training of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) was held on 5 and 6 September in the West Conference Room on the second floor of the Foxi Building. About 40 new staff attended the training, which was presided over by Hu Min, Deputy Party Secretary of STA.
In the mobilization session, Huang Changyong, President of STA, reviewed the development process and historical mission of the school. On the basis of summarizing the progress and achievements made by the school in recent years, he shared the future development goals and strategic plans of the school with the new staff. He hoped that the new staff would have a comprehensive understanding the past, present and future of STA, and make progress and develop together with STA.
There were six lectures in the two-day training, which were mainly about student affairs, research and creation, teaching performance, school history and current status, teachers’ discipline, teachers’ ethics. Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President Zhang Weiling, Vice President Yang Yang, Vice President Liu Qing, former Party Secretary Dai Ping, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission Zhou Yin'e Tong and Party Secretary Hu Min were the keynote speakers respectively. During the training course, all the new staff also signed the Shanghai Theatre Academy Letter of Undertaking on Teachers’ Ethics”.
Before the end of the training course, Xie Wei, Party Secretary of STA, on behalf of the Party Committee of the school, spoke and extended welcome to all the new colleagues of the team of STA and put forward expectations for them.
