See the Future – Exhibition of Works of Grade 2015 Graduates of Shanghai Theatre Academy’s College of Creative Studies opens

The opening of the See the Future Exhibition of Grade 2015 Graduates' Works of Shanghai Theatre Academy’s College  of Creative Studies was held in foyer of the Duanjun Theatre on 9 May. Since the first exhibition of undergraduate graduates' works of the College of Creative Studies was held in 2011, the exhibition has been named "See the Future" every year to express the best wishes and deep expectations for the graduates.

  

The See the Future exhibition of 2019 includes the works of graduates from two classes, namely, Digital Media Art Major (Specialization: Animation Design) 2015 and Public Administration Major (Specialization: Art Administration) 2015.

The exhibits from the Digital Media Art Major (Specialization: Animation Design) 2015 are nine short animation films created by the students during the graduation period, covering as forms as three-dimensional animation, fixed-frame animation, ink animation, children's illustration, sketch animation, Japanese animation and black-and-white animation, which can be called a small version of hundred flowers blossom.

The exhibits from the Public Administration Major (Specialization: Art Administration) 2015 are the practical projects that have been curated and produced by the students for actual presentation, including drama shows and concerts etc, which can be regarded as the crystallization of the internationalized and cross-college and department training modes adopted by STA’s art administration specialization

Xie Wei, Party Secretary of STA, and Huang Changyong, Deputy Party Secretary and President of STA, attended the exhibition together with teachers and students of the College of Creative Studies. In this exhibition, the audience could watch nine original animation works on the screens and understand the artistic characteristics of each animation works and the production process of each art administration project through the exhibition boards and other carriers. Animation works and peripheral products of theatrical performances could also be seen everywhere in the exhibition venue, making the whole exhibition area highly attractive.

On the opening day, a group of industry professionals came to the exhibition venue in search for talents. The exhibition will last until 19 May.
