The 8th “Irresistible Show” Talent Contest organized by the Student Union of the College of Continuing Education of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) came to a close after going through a busy schedule of competitions. It was a stage to show talent, and 15 programs in different styles and forms were selected from the three campuses, and each of them was great. The leaders present at the contest included: Ma Linhong, Executive Deputy Dean of the College of Continuing Education, Li Dongmei, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Department, Xu Jing, Secretary of the Youth League Committee and Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Department, and Kan Jisong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of the College of Continuing Education. The judges for this contest included Zhao Yingying, Director of the Creation Centre and Deputy Dean of the College of Film and Television, Wang Xueming, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Department of Acting, Li Peihong, Dean of the College of Chinese Traditional Opera, and Zhang Ling, Secretary of the Party Branch of the College of Dance.
Finally, the song “Mo Mei” from the Lianhua Road Campus won the first prize, the Peking Opera “Romance of the West Chamber” from the Damuqian Campus and the Kpop dance Crayon Baby from the Damuqiao Road Campus won the second prize, and the musical play “If Love” from the Lianhua Road Campus, the song “I Feel Good” from the Lianhua Road Campus and the musical play “Heart” from the Pudong Campus won the third prize. It is believed that every contestant has benefited from this contest. Irresistible Show, we will see you next year!
