In the morning of 8 September, the ceremonial parade of the Shanghai Theatre Academy Year 2014 new student military training was held at the Shanghai Jiansheng Education Activity Centre. STA leaders Lou Wei, Han Sheng, Hu Min and Zhang Weiling were present together with the persons-in-charge of the various functional offices, colleges and departments.
The ceremonial parade began with the singing of the national anthem. STA Party Secretary Lou Wei inspected the parade and, together with other colleagues and guests, reviewed the demonstration of the military training outcomes.
STA Vice President Zhang Weiling read out the name list of award winning students, coaches and teams, and presented the certificates of honour to them. STA President Han Sheng presented a silk banner to the representative of the military training base in appreciation of the careful arrangement and thoughtful organization by the Shanghai Jiansheng Education Activity Centre.
Zhang Yiteng, a representative of the award-winning students, gave a speech, in which he shared his experience and feelings during the nine-day military training with the leaders, guests and fellow students.
After the ceremonial parade, STA leaders visited the dormitories at the military training base where they had warm conversations with the students asking about their life during the military training and feelings about it and speaking highly about the students’ efforts and dedication.
