1 September was the first day of the new semester at the Shanghai Theatre Academy. At 7.50 am, the STA leaders made the inspection tours at the two campuses. The inspection of the Huashan Road campus was led by Party Secretary Lou Wei and the inspection of the Lianhua Road campus was led by President Han Sheng. They were accompanied by the persons-in-charge of the Academic Affairs Office, Publicity Office, Student Affairs Office and various colleges/departments. The inspections looked at the teachers’ teaching, students’ attendance, classroom atmosphere etc and the results were highly satisfactory. During the inspections, the leaders went into the classrooms where they held cordial conversations with the teachers and students encouraging them to strive for academic and professional advancement in the new semester.
