On the morning of 4 June, a group of teachers and students from the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts (APA) visited the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) and observed the physique lesson of the Year 2013 undergraduate students of the Acting Department. All of the ten APA students were from the third year undergraduate programs including eight students of acting and two students of directing. They first observed the basic ballet skill training and then participated in the stage skill training on expression by body language together with the STA students. Cross-institutional and cross-region exchange activities like this are beneficial to students of both sides in terms of widening their vision, learning from each other and accumulating the knowledge and experience necessary for future artistic creation.
